At school, I'm a computer science major though I also have interests in History, Civics, and Ethics. As indicated in my latest LJ post, I'm also an amateur writer, currently working on fanfics although since my current project is an original character story it would be relatively easy for me to work the identifiable elements of the anime I'm basing it on out and call it an original work (which I may in fact do once the story is complete).

For other interests, I'm hoping to get back into good enough running shape to begin running in 5k's again, but I doubt I'll be up to competeing at my previous levels anytime soon since I've allowed myself to fall so far out of shape, but also on the horizon is the possibility of competing in some mini-triathalons as my brother is a competitive swimmer and may be teaching me how to properly swim the freestyle. It sounds rather daunting, but the idea of just being able to complete in even a mini-triathalon is very, very attractive. I've even begun to dream of one day completing an Ironman (forget about even placing highly, I'd love to be in good enough shape to FINISH) when I haven't even learned how to swim yet!

That's all I can think of for now, but I may update this thing again later with more stuff, so check in regularly.
